Our internship program develops future leaders who possess critical thinking, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills, who want to grow a career with AGRILAND FS.Your internship experience will include:Paid internship of 8-12 weeksTwo-day mid-summer conferenceNetworking with AGRILAND FS employees, management, and fellow internsPresentation luncheon to wrap up your experiencePlus:On-the-job experience with specific training, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and technologyOpportunity for future advancement and career developmentExperience being part of a great team, in a respectful, safe, and fun work environmentThe position offersProjects offer opportunity to schedule appointments and gather information from producers.Training on specific products.Excellent learning environment with a lot of autonomy Employee will:Execute sales-related projects by contacting customers and prospectsGather market data from customers and influence customers to place trial usage of targeted products or servicesAssist with feed sampling, operations and inventoryResponsible for scheduling appointments with producers, mentors and manager.Attend training and marketing meetingsPresent project to management at the end of the summer Successful Candidates must:Agriculture major with at least a minor or emphasis in Animal ScienceHave at least 1 internship in production livestock or animal nutritionHave one summer left before graduatingExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent driving recordStrong customer service skillsStrong maturity demonstrating excellent decision-making skillsExperience working under little supervision
