We have an exciting opportunity for a Feeder-Folder in Virginia Beach, Virginia!
Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to recognize colors, sizes, and product types accurately.
- Strong counting and sorting skills with attention to detail.
- Have the ability to inspect and identify product quality issues.
- Must be capable of performing physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling carts, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in an industrial laundry environment with exposure to heat, humidity, lint, dust, and odors.
- Previous production, warehouse, laundry, or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
Job Duties entail but are not limited to:
- Sort, inspect, and grade clean textiles removed from carts or bins to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Fold, assemble, and package textiles by hand or feed items into ironing and folding machines according to production requirements.
- Process textiles by product type and follow packing instructions for final distribution.
- Place finished products onto conveyors or into carts and move materials throughout the production area.
- Record production activity using the Spindle productivity tracking system.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures and company policies.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 5am-1:30pm with OT opportunities
