Feeder/ Packer Operator

Diversified is seeking a cardboard feeder for a warehouse in Mansfield.

There are 2 shifts available:

1st shift - 6am-2:30pm Mon- Friday OT up to 12 hours daily

2nd shift-6pm-6am Mon- Thurs OT on Fridays

Compensation

$15-$16/hr Mandatory Overtime includes overtime pay

Job Summary

Loads raw materials, such as cardboard sheets, into industrial machinery (die-cutters, gluers, printing presses) and removes finished products. They ensure consistent, high-speed production by maintaining material supply, monitoring quality for defects, and clearing jams to keep machines running safely.

Key Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Material Loading: Consistently feeds cardboard blanks or sheets into machine feeders/hoppers, ensuring correct positioning.
Machine Operation: Starts, stops, and operates feeding mechanisms or conveyors.
Offbearing: Removes finished, folded, or glued cardboard products from the output side, stacking them neatly for further processing or shipping.
Quality Inspection: Scans materials for defects, ensuring proper alignment, printing, or structural integrity.
Troubleshooting: Clears jams and makes minor, basic adjustments to machinery, collaborating with operators on efficiency.
Equipment Maintenance: Cleans machines and workstations to maintain a safe working environment.

Typical Qualifications and Physical Requirements:
Physical Strength: Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for long periods.
Skills: High hand-eye coordination, basic math skills, and high attention to detail.
Experience: Often requires minimal experience (less than 1 month) or a high school diploma/GED.
Schedule: Willingness to work rotating shifts, evenings, or weekends.

Manufacturing and production facilities (corrugated, paperboard, or packaging companies).
Fast-paced, noisy environments that require strict adherence to safety protocols
