Job Description
- Prepare and maintain the cardiac cath lab environment for pediatric diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Assist cardiologists during procedures by operating imaging and monitoring equipment.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and hemodynamic status throughout procedures.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and medications under physician direction.
- Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control policies at all times.
- Perform post-procedure equipment cleaning, calibration, and data documentation.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient records within EMR systems.
- Participate in patient preparation, including IV access, patient positioning, and sedation monitoring support.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and anesthesia providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
