Overview:Schedule: Monday-Friday; Hybrid role. *After the initial 90-day training period, the position will transition to a hybrid schedule with one remote workday per week.
Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Research Postdoctoral Fellow will lead the analysis of longitudinal data examining how infant movement patterns and brain function evolve over time. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in analyzing infant movement and behavioral data, experience managing and organizing large datasets, and a strong track record in scientific writing and manuscript development.
This role involves close collaboration with a multidisciplinary research team to collect and analyze data, deliver presentations, prepare manuscripts and grant proposals, and contribute to the development of new studies. Under the guidance of a mentor, the fellow will also pursue an independent research question that complements ongoing projects or leverages existing datasets. Current research within the INCLab is supported by funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
As a training-focused role, the Research Postdoctoral Fellow will further develop advanced research, teaching, and academic skills necessary for a successful career as an independent investigator. Additional responsibilities include conducting laboratory and research activities independently or alongside the Principal Investigator, publishing findings in peer-reviewed journals, and actively participating in seminars, meetings, trainings, and other professional development opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: Exposure to and/or experience in research in a healthcare environment preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education/Licensure/Certification: MD and/or PhD, or equivalent doctoral degree.
