FETAL CARDIOLOGY MEDICAL DIRECTOR OPPORTUNITY
A leading children's hospital in Denver Colorado seeks a Director of Fetal Cardiology to take a central leadership role in building a regional, complex fetal care center. The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative team of Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists, neonatologists, pediatric cardiac surgeons, and geneticists, with the unique opportunity to shape the strategic direction of a growing and successful congenital heart program. This role offers meaningful involvement in research and academic activities within a supportive institutional environment.
Clinical responsibilities include advanced fetal and congenital echocardiography, collaborative management of complex fetal and neonatal cardiac conditions, multidisciplinary fetal care conferences, inpatient newborn consultation, perioperative support within an expanding congenital heart surgery program, and shared call coverage with a negotiable structure. Leadership responsibilities span program vision and strategic development, care pathway design, quality improvement, imaging standards, regional outreach, and referral development. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Cardiology; advanced training in fetal cardiology and/or congenital echocardiography, prior leadership experience in fetal cardiology or program development, and experience in a high-volume, high-acuity congenital heart surgical center are strongly preferred.
