FI Rep Code Translation- Engineering Manager

Job Summary (Senior Manager, Engineering):

- Lead the delivery of innovative technology solutions supporting clearing and custody (intermediary) business within Institutional Wealth Management Services (IWMS).
- Drive execution and ensure high-quality, timely product delivery aligned with business priorities.
- Serve as a technical leader, resolving complex engineering challenges and contributing to IWMS strategic goals.
- Foster a high-performing, inclusive engineering culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Champion diversity, energize the team, and promote leadership at all levels.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise standards and empower engineering teams to achieve success.
- Oversee and mentor geographically dispersed engineering teams; support their growth and skill development.
- Apply strong software engineering fundamentals and modern tools (e.g., Jira, REST/SOAP, Jenkins, GitHub, cloud architecture).
- Maintain strong stakeholder communication and ensure technical deliverables align with business objectives.
- Promote engineering excellence, quality, robust documentation, and adherence to technology standards/best practices (security, reliability, resilience, performance).
- Utilize data-driven decision-making for day-to-day leadership and strategic analysis.
- Optimize delivery through efficiency improvements, quality enhancements, technical debt management, AI, and tooling.
- Model and promote a culture of continuous learning, mentoring, and coaching.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, governance controls, and industry regulations (Series 99 license desired).
