Required Skills: 8+ Year Experience- 5+ years of experience in materials characterization or failure analysis.
- Expertise with grinding, polishing, encapsulation techniques, optical microscopy and a range of sample preparation approaches for a variety of materials·
- Expertise in iterative planar polishing·
- Ability to perceive device structures in three dimensions·
- Data analysis and reporting abilities (i.e. Keynote or equivalent)·
- Basic understanding of mechanical assemblies·
- Past experience with argon ion milling is a plus·
- To be successful in this role, you should have an in-depth, hands-on understanding of Dual Beam FIB/SEM·
- Familiarity with a wide variety of materials characterization techniques (SEM/ EDS, FTIR, CT/X-Ray, etc..) and fundamental failure analysis methodology
