Fiber Construction / Field CM/Coordinator Broadstaff | Supporting a Leading Fiber Infrastructure Company Atlanta, GA (Northwest Metro Area)? $35-$40/Hour DOE Company Truck Available  10-12 Month Contract | Potential Contract-to-Hire About the Opportunity
Broadstaff is seeking a Fiber Construction Coordinator / Field CM to support one of our leading fiber infrastructure clients on a major underground fiber construction project in the Atlanta market.

This is an excellent opportunity for a fiber professional who understands Outside Plant (OSP) construction, enjoys being in the field, and has strong computer and project tracking skills. You'll work closely with construction crews, inspectors, project managers, and client stakeholders to ensure projects stay on track from construction through closeout.
What You'll Do
  • Monitor underground fiber construction activities in the field.
  • Track daily production and construction progress.
  • Maintain project trackers, reports, and status updates.
  • Update and manage KMZ/KML mapping files.
  • Coordinate with contractors, inspectors, and project teams.
  • Document field issues, risks, and construction changes.
  • Support construction reporting and project closeout activities.
  • Verify completed work and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Communicate regularly with client and internal stakeholders.
What We're Looking For Required
  • Experience with Fiber OSP construction projects.
  • Understanding of underground fiber installation methods.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
  • Experience working with project trackers and reporting tools.
  • Ability to review maps, construction prints, and field documentation.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Preferred
  • Fiber Construction Manager, Construction Coordinator, OSP Inspector, or Field Supervisor experience.
  • Experience with KMZ/KML mapping files.
  • Familiarity with FieldMax or similar construction management tools.
  • Understanding of fiber splicing, restoration, and closeout processes.
  • Long-haul fiber project experience.
Work Environment
  • Approximately 60% field work / 40% administrative duties.
  • Home-office based when not in the field.
  • Local travel throughout the Atlanta market.
  • Work closely with experienced fiber construction and project management teams.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $35-$40/hour based on experience.
