Lead Fiber Technician
We are seeking a Data Center Fiber Technician to support the installation and deployment of pre-terminated MPO fiber infrastructure within a data center environment.
Responsibilities:

Install, route, secure, and dress pre-terminated MPO fiber optic cabling throughout data center spaces.
Follow rack elevation drawings, pathways, and cable management standards.
Perform cable labeling, documentation, and quality assurance checks.
Assist with fiber optic testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
Maintain a safe work environment while adhering to all site-specific safety requirements.
Work effectively with project managers and other technicians to meet deployment schedules.
Oversee a team of 3 technicians.

Requirements:

Experience installing and routing fiber optic cabling in data centers, telecommunications facilities, or commercial environments.
Familiarity with MPO/MTP fiber systems and cable management best practices.
Experience performing fiber testing (OTDR, insertion loss, or certification testing) preferred.
Candidates without testing experience must be willing and able to learn fiber testing procedures through company-provided training.
Ability to read basic drawings, rack elevations, and installation documentation.
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to lift equipment, work on ladders, and perform physical tasks in a data center environment.
Previous experience overseeing a team of 3 or more preferred.
