Fiber Technician

The primary responsibility is to support the installation of infrastructure and cabling materials related to data center builds outs.

• Install fiber tray, ladder rack, Unistrut, basket tray and cabinets
• Cable infrastructure and Fiber rough in
• Cable management (dressing, labeling testing)
• Material receiving and hardware assembly
• Read and follow blueprints set for installation
• Follow written and oral communication displaying professionalism
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols (Proper PPE, clean up jobsite, OSHA).

Certifications Desired but not required:

• OSHA 10
• Scissor Lift Certification

Required Tools:

• Basic hand tools, Screwdriver (multi-Bit), Torpedo level, Tape measure, Snips, Pliers (needle nose and channel locks), Cable stripper, punch down tool, modular plug crimper, Flashlight, Electrical tape, Impact driver

PPE:

• Safety Vest, Safety Glasses, Work Gloves Level IV Cut resistant, Hard Hat (Class E Type 2), Work Boots (composite)
