About the RoleSiemens EDA, a global leader in semiconductor design software, is seeking a customer-focused Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support its PowerPro platform for RTL and gate-level power analysis and optimization.You will work closely with leading semiconductor customers to drive successful evaluations, deployments, and adoption of PowerPro, while collaborating with sales, R&D, and product teams.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with sales to define and execute technical strategies aligned to customer needsDeliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and workshopsLead evaluations and proof-of-concepts to drive business winsSupport deployment and adoption of PowerPro across customer teamsProvide pre- and post-sales technical support, including debugging and trainingCollaborate with R&D and Product teams to influence product enhancementsQualificationsRequired Strong RTL design experience (Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL)Knowledge of digital design, STA, synthesis, and verification flowsA good understanding of coding styles for synthesis and simulationExperience with RTL power analysis and optimization methodologiesScripting skills (Tcl, Python)Strong communication and problem-solving skillsBS/MS in EE, CS, or related field3+ years of experience in RTL(ASIC/FPGA) design is requiredPreferredExperience with power tools (e.g., PrimePower, PowerArtist, or similar)Knowledge of low-power methodologies (UPF/CPF)Customer-facing experience (FAE/AE)Exposure to advanced SoC designs and nodesAdditional InformationHybrid role with up to 20% travel may be requiredFace to face customer meetings are an essential part of this roleWhy us?
