You will work closely with the Aerospace and Defense business to develop and execute sales strategies, provide technical expertise, and cultivate strong customer relationships.You will report directly to Sales Director for Aerospace.In this role, you will have a significant impact on the growth and profitability of our organization by identifying new business opportunities, driving growth in the assigned market, and delivering customer‑centric solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of advanced application and system solutions with key Aerospace and Defense customersDevelop and execute technical sales strategies to achieve business objectivesBuild and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partnersIdentify new business opportunities and drive growth in the assigned marketCollaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver customer‑centric solutionManaging a Portfolio: Overseeing a portfolio of advanced applications and system solutions tailored to the customer's needs.Developing Growth Strategies: Collaborating with the SAM to formulate and execute sales strategies aimed at achieving business objectives with the supported customers, thereby directly contributing to revenue growth.Building Relationships: Identify and develop strong relationships with engineers and key technical partners for new project opportunities which are essential for long‑term business success.Identifying Opportunities: Proactively identifying new business opportunities within the Aerospace and Defense markets, along with the technical capability to drive growth.Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Working closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver technical solutions that enhance client satisfaction.Account Strategy: Provide daily technical support and problem resolution with your sales partners.You Must HaveBachelor's degree from an accredited institution in technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics8+ years of experience in sales engineering roles, with a focus on advanced applications and systemsStrong technical background in advanced application and systems engineeringTechnical background in sensing salesExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholdersStrategic thinking and problem‑solving abilitiesAerospace and Defense experience.We ValueExcellent communication and presentation skillsCan influence at varying levels across the organizationAbility to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environmentAbility to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑faceted environmentMBA or Advanced Degree preferredTrack record of exceeding financial targetsEffectively getting results in a matrixed organization structureClear communication and vision‑setting skillsProfessional presence and communication skills to interact with customers at all levels of the organizationDeveloping and fostering strong customer relationshipsStrategic mindset to scope tasks and achieve goalsTimely decision‑making in the face of complexity and ambiguityEnsuring customer satisfaction quality, reliability, from a technical perspectiveClassified ClearanceOther languages valuedThe annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $113,000 - $130,000. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is $120,000 - $141,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
