The Field Applications Engineer (FAE) at Regami Solutions partners closely with Sales and Engineering to provide processor, vision, and embedded systems expertise throughout the customer engagement and solution lifecycle. This role focuses on enabling customer success by recommending, designing, and supporting processor-centric and computer-vision–based solutions for embedded and edge applications.
The FAE proactively identifies opportunities where Regami’s processor platforms, vision pipelines, and embedded software capabilities can solve customer challenges or unlock new functionality. By combining strong technical depth with customer-facing skills, the FAE builds credibility, fosters long-term relationships, and drives designs from concept to production and revenue.

Responsibilities
Partner with Sales to
secure customer commitments and win business by working directly with customer
engineering teams on processor and vision-based applications
Recommend, architect,
and support processor, SoC, and vision system solutions in a consultative role,
leveraging strong embedded software expertise
Develop custom demos,
reference designs, example code, and proof-of-concepts for key customers
Debug and optimize
embedded software, vision pipelines, and system-level issues in customer end
products
Collaborate with
internal engineering and product teams to convert customer designs into
production-ready solutions and revenue
Provide prompt,
in-depth technical support to drive customer designs from evaluation through
deployment
Analyze and understand
the competitive processor and vision ecosystem, applying insights gained from
customer engagements
Feed structured
technical and market feedback into Regami’s product and engineering teams to
influence feature roadmaps and solution enhancements
Articulate the
business and technical value of proposed processor and vision features or
system improvements
Create and maintain
application notes, technical documentation, and solution collateral related to
processors, vision systems, and embedded platforms
Deliver technical
presentations, product training sessions, and customer workshops on Regami’s
processor and vision solutions

Bachelor’s degree in
Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of
relevant experience in embedded systems, processors, or vision-based
applications
Strong hands-on
experience with embedded processors/SoCs, system bring-up, and embedded
software
