About Dynamic42 and ViaSante Solutions

Dynamic42 GmbH is advancing next-generation in vitro models through innovative Organ-on-Chip technology. Our platform enables more predictive and ethical pre-clinical testing by mimicking human physiology at the micro-scale, transforming how researchers and companies approach drug discovery and toxicology.

ViaSante Solutions (VSS) serves as the U.S. employer of record for Dynamic42 GmbH, a leader in Organ-on-Chip systems. While VSS manages payroll, benefits, and employment, your day-to-day work will directly support Dynamic42’s mission of enabling better science for better health.

Position Summary

The Field Application Specialist (FAS) serves as the scientific and technical bridge between Dynamic42 GmbH and its customers, providing expert support and training to ensure the successful adoption of the company’s Organ-on-Chip systems. This role blends technical excellence with customer engagement — helping scientists design, implement, and optimize in vitro experiments using micro-physiological systems.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in cell biology, tissue engineering, or advanced in vitro models, combined with strong communication skills and a passion for enabling scientific innovation. This position requires technical depth, customer-facing professionalism, and strong problem-solving capabilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Engagement and Business Development

  • Identify, engage, and qualify new customers across academia, biotech, and pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Support the sales team with scientific presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to develop webinars, outreach materials, and technical content.

Technical Training and Support

  • Train new customers on the operation and experimental design of Dynamic42 Organ-on-Chip systems, both on-site and remotely.
  • Provide expert guidance on assay setup, data interpretation, and integration with customer workflows.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between customer teams and internal R&D/product development.
  • Troubleshoot user challenges and ensure customer satisfaction through sustained follow-up support.

Collaboration and Feedback

  • Communicate customer feedback to internal teams to guide product improvements.
  • Contribute to application notes, case studies, white papers, and technical documentation.
  • Represent Dynamic42 at conferences, workshops, and industry events.
  • Contribute to customer documentation and ensure CRM data is up to date.

Compliance and Data Integrity

  • Maintain adherence to laboratory safety standards and data integrity requirements.
  • Support quality and regulatory compliance relevant to pre-clinical and life sciences R&D.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Bio engineering, Pharmacology, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on laboratory experience with advanced in vitro models (Organ-on-Chip, 3D culture, microfluidics, or cell-based assays).
  • Strong understanding of cell culture techniques and micro-physiological systems.
  • Previous customer-facing experience (Field Applications, Technical Support, or Sales Support).
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and collaborative; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel 30–50% for customer visits and scientific events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or scientific instrumentation industries.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and data management systems.
  • History of published application notes, case studies, or conference presentations.
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred).
