Field Applications Engineer (Austin, TX)

The Field Applications Engineer (FAE) is responsible for partnering with Sales and providing focused technical expertise in specifically Multiphase Power Products and Point of Loads throughout the sales cycle. The FAE proactively identifies current products and/or creative solutions to solve existing customer projects and create new functionality/opportunities. In this role, the FAE uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to gain credibility and develop relationships with customers.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with sales to grow TI''s analog revenue with a targeted customer
• Work with the sales team to prioritize and target key and emerging accounts for TI growth opportunities

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, Computer Engineering or related degree
• 1+ years of experience in disciplines applicable to our customer''s end equipment spaces such as sensors, signal conditioning, data acquisition, power design, clocking and timing, or data communications
• Experience with design, analysis, and debug of related circuits or sub-systems
• Ability to run simulations, and create/ review schematics and board layout
• Ability to help customers debug board level issues

• Ability to collaborate effectively with customers to solve their complete analog system requirements utilizing TI components
• Strong communication skills and the ability to proactively drive customer activity
• Ability to work with multiple sales resources and field and factory-based technical resources to develop a winning solution for the customer

• Ability to advocate for customer needs (with an understanding of "why") back into the TI product groups
