Field Attendant - Cannon Park Softball Complex

Join our athletics staff as a key member of the Hoffman Estates Park District team that works at the Cannon Park Softball Complex. This position will be responsible for performing various daily, cyclical, and routine facility management functions. Essential Duties & Requirements: Oversee daily operations of Cannon Park Softball Complex, including opening and closing procedures during softball league nights and weekend tournament play. Set up ballfields for league and tournament play; prepare scoresheets and game balls for umpires. (Park District Softball League night only) Maintain field conditions by raking fields before and after game play. Ensure cleanliness of concession areas, sitting/bleacher areas, restrooms, and maintenance garage, by taking out trash Assist patrons and renter groups with concerns and uphold safety policies in compliance with District regulations. Maintain a clean, organized work environment and perform additional duties as assigned. Hours/Schedule: 10-18 hours per week - April to October Shifts vary based on weekend tournament game schedules Mondays (softball league night) Friday (evenings), Saturday and Sunday - Day and evening shifts available Pay Rate: $15-$16 per hour The Hoffman Estates Park District is a proactive equal-opportunity employer.
