About the Opportunity


CFS is partnering with a growing professional services firm seeking a detail-oriented Field Auditor to join their team. This Field Auditor role offers a blend of in-office and on-site client work, providing variety and exposure across industries. The ideal Field Auditor will bring strong analytical skills and a foundation in audit practices.



Key Responsibilities of the Field Auditor



  • Perform on-site and remote audit procedures for client engagements

  • Analyze financial records and ensure compliance with regulations and standards

  • Assist in planning and executing audits from start to finish

  • Prepare audit workpapers, reports, and documentation

  • Identify risk areas and recommend process improvements

  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve discrepancies

  • Support senior leadership in delivering high-quality audit services



Qualifications for the Field Auditor



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Prior audit experience preferred (public accounting or field audit exposure a plus)

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to travel locally for client engagements as a Field Auditor

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
