We are currently seeking a Project Manager to support residential electric utility projects for a confidential utility client. In this role, you will manage projects from inception through construction, serving as the key point of contact for customers, engineers, and internal stakeholders while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
What You’ll Do
- Manage utility infrastructure projects from planning through construction.
- Coordinate with customers, engineers, permitting agencies, environmental teams, construction personnel, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
- Lead multi-disciplinary project teams and provide project oversight.
- Conduct field visits to gather project information and verify customer requirements.
- Facilitate communication between internal departments and external customers.
- Resolve customer concerns and support successful project outcomes.
- Track project progress and provide status reporting.
- Support emergency response activities when required.
- Ensure compliance with applicable utility standards, regulations, and company procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum two years of relevant project management or utility industry experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Basic understanding of scheduling, estimating, budgeting, accounting, and finance principles.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience managing utility, infrastructure, engineering, or construction projects.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of utility planning, procurement, budgeting, and contract administration practices.
