RGLNG is a natural gas liquefaction and export terminal situated on a 984-acre site on the banks of the Brownsville ship channel. The first phase of the RGLNG project consists of three liquefaction trains, two storage tanks and two marine berth. At full capacity, the five-train facility will have a production capacity of 27 million tonnes per annum (MTPA).Brownsville, Texas is a city known for its diverse history, tradition, and rich culture. Brownsville embraces innovation, looks forward to the future and beyond!Job SummaryIn this role, you will conduct field investigations and client interviews to determine work scope and cost estimates for a project's control systems aspects. You will lead design, development, modification, and evaluation of control systems components and processes. Your recommendations will resolve technical issues and ensure unique and complex requirements of a project's control systems aspects are met.Major ResponsibilitiesConfigure and troubleshoot ABB 800xA Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) including Process Control, Emergency Shutdown and Fire & GasSupport loop checking, functional testing, and commissioning of instrumentation and systemsProvides technical assistance to other Control Systems personnel and interacts with project functions, the customer, and regulatory agency personnel in the resolution of complex regulatory issuesProvides assistance to project and construction management in identifying and complying with project Control Systems requirements and in addressing issues as they arise during project executionAssisting the construction team in developing design changes to resolve field problems. Resident Engineers will be able to provide firsthand assistance in finding problem solutions.
