Field Coordinator

Woodland Builders is seeking a motivated and organized Field Coordinator to support the day-to-day execution of active residential remodeling projects. This opportunity is ideal for someone with trade or construction experience who enjoys field coordination, problem-solving, helping projects stay organized and moving efficiently.
This is a hands-on, mobile role supporting the Production Manager across jobsites, supplier locations, and active construction projects throughout the South Shore area.
This is not a Project Manager role. You will not own project budgets or schedules. Instead, your focus will be supporting project execution and helping keep operations running smoothly on the ground.
For the right person, this role offers a clear growth path toward a future Project Manager position as the company continues to grow.
What You'll Do
- Pick up and deliver materials, fixtures, and supplies to active jobsites
- Coordinate material orders with suppliers based on production schedules
- Track deliveries and identify potential lead time issues before they impact projects
- Maintain organized staging areas and material organization at jobsites
- Provide on-site support for light carpentry tasks and punch list work
- Support the Production Manager with field coverage when needed
- Conduct site walkthroughs and document progress with photos and notes
- Assist with jobsite setup, cleanup, and organization
- Communicate with trade partners regarding scheduling and site access
- Serve as a professional point of contact for homeowners while on site
- Relay updates and information between the office and field teams accurately and promptly
- Update JobTread with field notes, photos, and completed tasks
- Support permit pickups, document delivery, and inspection coordination
- Assist with additional operational tasks as the business continues to grow
What You Bring
- Trade or construction experience with the ability to work confidently on residential jobsites
- Strong reliability, organization, and attention to detail
- Professional communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Ability to work independently while staying responsive to the Production Manager and team
- Comfort working in a mobile role between jobsites and supplier locations
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfort using technology including JobTread, Google Drive, and smartphone tools
- Desire to learn and grow within residential construction operations
- Construction Supervisor License (CSL) is helpful but not required
- Estimating or project scheduling experience is not required

- $27-32/hour based on experience
