Field Dispatcher

Academy Bus is seeking a Field Dispatcher for the Port Authority Bus Terminal in NYC, serving commuters and intercity bus travelers.

As a Field Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating our drivers and customers along our routes serving the NYC region. You will partner closely with the field supervisor, dispatch, and operations teams, to support the overall safety and efficiency of service while providing exceptional customer service.

Earn $20.00 per hour.

Schedule:

This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and busy travel days immediately before and after holidays.

Core Role:

• Coordinate drivers for daily operations
• Ensure safety procedures are followed in the field
• Be present and visible in the loading areas and provide assistance as required
• Communicate information clearly and concisely via direct connect radio or phone
• Accurately update logs and complete required documentation
• Keep the field supervisor, dispatch and operations teams updated on operations
