Job Summary We are seeking a Field Engineer III to perform installation, diagnosis, maintenance, and servicing of computer-related products at customer sites and depot locations. This role involves supporting desktops, laptops, printers, network devices, standard software, and low-end servers. As a journeyman desk-side support technician, you will follow direction from Help Desk or Service Desk teams, while applying personal expertise to resolve complex product support issues. Assignments range from troubleshooting and repair to advanced device servicing, including reloading and re-imaging PCs/laptops and optimizing hardware/software networking products. Key Responsibilities Pro vide software, hardware, and networking support for desktops, laptops, and servers. Maintain and support legacy products and core server products. Perform disk replacement on enterprise storage products. Install and maintain PCs, networks, servers, and peripherals. Support network products from operational and maintenance perspectives. Execute installs, moves, adds, and changes as required. Test and certify PCs, networks, servers, and client-approved applications. Provide follow-up on issues or escalate as needed. Maintain professionalism in actions, demeanor, and dress. Ensure customer satisfaction throughout service delivery. Meet client-specific Service Level Agreements and update incident/request tickets accordingly. Required Qualifications Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking. Experience troubleshooting and repairing desktops, laptops, printers, and servers. Ability to reload and re-image PCs/laptops and optimize HW/SW networking products. Familiarity with enterprise storage products and disk replacement procedures. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and follow Help Desk/Service Desk direction. Preferred Qualifications (if any) Experience with legacy product support. Prior exposure to enterprise-level ticketing systems. Education: High School
