Field Service Technician
Area: Midwest (Chicago preferred, travel required)
Shift: Day shift + flexible / occasional after-hours
Job Summary:
- Provide installation, service, and preventative maintenance on access control and entrance systems (turnstiles, gates, etc.)
- Troubleshoot electrical and electromechanical issues on-site and remotely
- Support customers and partners with technical guidance and issue resolution
- Assist sales team with technical input during new installations and upgrades
- Maintain strong customer relationships with a focus on first-time fix and service quality
- Complete service documentation, reports, and updates in ERP systems
- Travel regionally (primarily Northeast) with occasional overnight stays
