Job Summary

Join Shaw's Self Perform Concrete team on a marquee mountain project in Avon, CO — with housing provided. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to grow fast: you'll manage material planning, crew scheduling, and quality control for a self-perform concrete operation, working side-by-side with the Superintendent and Self Perform Manager on one of Shaw's highest-visibility builds. Ideal for a Field Engineer or Project Engineer ready to step up into ownership of a full scope of work.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate concrete material delivery, storage, and management with the Superintendent and subcontractors; track and project material needs, and travel between job sites checking quality of work
• Assist the Superintendent with subcontractor scheduling and Shaw's 1-2-3 Quality Control program (prephase meetings, first-day inspections, scheduled inspections)
• Support project financials and documentation: RFIs, ASIs, change pricing, shop drawings, submittals, and detailed material takeoffs
• Measure crew production rates weekly against planned targets, and supervise Foremen, general labor, and back-out crews
• Maintain specifications, submittals, As-Built drawings, and jobsite tool/equipment tracking
• Monitor and enforce Shaw's safety & security program per company policy and applicable codes
• Participate in Company Training and assist with pre-construction estimating and proposal development

What We're Looking For

• Four-year college degree, preferably in Construction Management
• Minimum 2 years experience with a General Contractor, self-perform, or trade contractor (concrete background preferred)
• Strong understanding of concrete construction practices, document reading, means/methods/materials, and current building codes
• Working knowledge of construction cost control and basic accounting
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable in a physical, active jobsite environment (climbing, standing, lifting up to 75 lbs)

Compensation

Pay Type: Salary Pay Range: $75,000–$85,000/year, based on qualifications and experience Other Compensation: Bonus commensurate with individual and company performance Relocation: Housing provided for the duration of the Avon assignment
