This role exercises oversight during the construction phase of building systems engineering projects and will be based in our Charlotte or Raleigh, NC office. The ideal candidate will possess 7 – 10 years of related experience and demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks, be highly organized, have excellent writing skills, proficient computer skills, and a professional and team-oriented demeanor.Responsibilities will include:Implementing approved system concepts in the construction phaseManaging the construction-related aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering; developing and maintaining positive client relationshipsCommunicating with BR+A Project Manager/Project Engineer regarding potential problems and engineering assistance from the design team that you may needCoordinating with other construction trade disciplines and the architectAttending meetings as required, working to submit the required documentation per project deadlines and milestonesPerforming field work and verification of existing conditions and newly installed mechanical and electrical systemsReviewing, processing, and returning electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection submittals and RFIs.
