    Description

    We are seeking an experienced Field Engineer to support commercial, industrial, civil, and concrete construction projects through precise surveying, robotic total station layout, quality verification, and construction coordination. This role is responsible for establishing project control, performing field layout operations, managing coordinate data, conducting as‑built surveys, and ensuring all work is installed in accordance with engineering plans and design models.The ideal candidate possesses strong construction surveying experience, proficiency with robotic total station equipment, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams in fast‑paced construction environments.Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and verify survey control points using site benchmarks.Import project coordinate data and BIM/CAD information into robotic total stations.Perform layout activities for concrete, structural, and utility installations.Conduct as‑built surveys and quality verification checks.Troubleshoot layout conflicts and coordinate resolutions with project teams.Maintain survey accuracy logs and coordinate databases.Verify field installations meet project specifications and tolerances.Prepare survey reports and progress updates.Support project planning and scheduling meetings as required.Qualifications5+ years of construction layout, field engineering, or construction surveying experience.Demonstrated experience operating robotic total stations in active construction environments.Strong understanding of concrete, structural, and site construction.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and BIM models.Experience managing coordinate systems and construction control networks.Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.PreferredRevitTrimble Business CenterBIM 360 / Autodesk Construction CloudDrone mapping technologiesPhysical RequirementsAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Ability to walk uneven terrain and active construction sites.Ability to lift and carry survey equipment up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand, kneel, climb, and perform field work for extended periods.What's in it for you?Competitive Salary & Benefits: $70,000 – $95,000 annuallyVehicle allowance or company truckPer diem and travel reimbursementMedical, dental, vision, and 401(k)#J-18808-Ljbffr
