Field Engineer

Overview Akkodis is seeking a Field Engineer 2 for a 12+ months Contract job with a client in Danbury, CT . The role requires a solid background in soldering, electrical assembly, and mechanical assembly. Base pay range listed is $38.00/hr - $43.00/hr, with potential negotiation based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Pay Range: $38.00/hr - $43.00/hr. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Responsibilities Electrical experience with soldering.Electrical assembly and mechanical assembly.Ability to understand electrical and mechanical drawings.Thorough understanding of the Company's products and equipment.Engineering concepts and practices.Ability to select the most effective approaches and adapt standard practices and procedures to resolve complex semi-technical problems.Strong communication skills and the ability to lead less experienced staff.Decisions and actions are based on individual knowledge and experience and may affect quality, schedule, and rework; assignments are not subject to close scrutiny.
