This is a full‑time, 5‑day per week assignment requiring on‑site presence Monday through Friday. The role supports our designer‑of‑record office and field team for an ongoing major military construction project located at the US Navy's Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, ME.The project involves the construction of 134 large‑diameter, drilled “deep foundation” shafts in a marine environment. The FE will work alongside the geotechnical engineering team to provide quality assurance oversight of all aspects of shaft construction and acceptance. There are also 40,000 cubic yards of precast concrete and 50,000 cubic yards of cast‑in‑place concrete. The FE will oversee and document construction of permanent structures, including rebar inspections and concrete quality assurance, and file daily field reports (DFRs) each day with the client.
