JT4 LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force Space Force and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic integrated test and training environments and prepares our nations war-fighting aircraft weapons systems and aircrews for todays missions and tomorrows global challenges.Job Summary -- Essential FunctionsDutiesA Field Engineer III performs as a lead on more complex field engineering assignments and performs a variety of engineering assignments involving technology applications involved in the installation operation testing and maintenance of complex electronicmechanical equipment and systems.Employee will be responsible for the following functionsdutiesOperate radars and other electronic equipment on a daily basis.Maintain sustain and troubleshoot and repair analog and digital equipment used in radar transmitters receivers timing assemblies data collection and RF and digital transmission lines.Construct electronic and RF chassis using industry standard fabrication techniques for wiring and packaging.Develop maintain and produce technical documentationProvide expert knowledge on Radio Frequency RF and RADAR principles Suggest improvements to processes and procedures to obtain efficienciesImplement test and troubleshooting processesDevelop basic data analysis tools processes or products for analysisAnalyze pre-test predictions to define data collection requirementsCollect QC and analyze data Identify and resolve basic data anomalies Present test findingsAssist in authoring final test products and present the findings to customersPerform other job-related duties as requiredDesired QualificationsExperience with MaximoRequirements -- Education Technical and Work ExperienceAn Associates Degree in Engineering or other technical discipline or formal academicvocationalmilitary training and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the specialty field are required for this position.In addition a Field Engineer III must possess the following qualificationsBroad knowledge of concepts principles and practices of engineering that enable senior technical contributor-level performance on complex projects or programsKnowledge and skill sufficient to apply developments in engineering to solve problems in the specialty areaWorking knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programsAbility to investigate troubleshoot and design solutions to problems in operational hardware and softwareExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPlanningorganizational skillsCandidates who do not meet the requirements will be considered for a lower level. SALARYThe expected salary range for this position is 91062.40 to 170456.00 annually.Note The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay.
