Position OverviewDNT Construction, LLC seeks highly motivated individuals for a Survey Department position in the San Antonio and Austin area offices. The role requires Monday through Saturday shifts and often overtime. No experience is required; on‑the‑job training will be provided. DNT promotes from within and encourages advancement.ResponsibilitiesAs a Field Engineer, you will assist the crew chief (a crew of 3–4 people) with assigned tasks.Assist the crew chief with the daily task list.Collaborate cross‑functionally with other departments and field personnel to provide the requested layouts.Keep the work truck stocked with required materials.Set up, maintain, and care for robotic and GPS survey equipment.Use hand tools such as a 10 lb sledgehammer, 16 oz hammer, and 5 lb pick ax.Ideal CandidatePass pre‑employment drug screen and physical examination.Hold a valid TX driver's license with a clean driving record.Be able to work outdoors in all weather for extended periods.Communicate effectively with management and field personnel.Bilingual is a plus, but not required.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance (after 90 days).Holiday pay and paid vacation (after 90 days).401(k) (after 12 months).CompensationCompensation is based on experience.Additional InformationThis general overview includes essential functions and does not preclude other job‑related duties requested by supervisor or management.
