What You’ll Do
Follow all state and federal transportation laws while operating your vehicle
Transport heavy equipment safely and promptly over assigned routes while observing traffic laws and safety regulations
Back and position the truck and trailer into tight loading/unloading areas using spotter signals
Assist with loading/unloading as needed; use specialized equipment when warranted; return empty skids and gear to designated areas
Collect and maintain invoices and bills of lading; turn in paperwork to the shipping office or appropriate staff at the end of your route
Conduct routine service checks (oil, water, fuel, air) and escalate maintenance issues to the Shipping Supervisor
Stage and arrange trailers in the yard to optimize loading patterns
Pitch in on other related tasks as assigned

Credentials & Experience
Commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license per state requirements, suitable for vehicle weight
Must pass DOT physical, as trucks driven are over 10k lbs
Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
Physical Requirements
Long stretches seated in a truck cab
Lift/move up to 40 pounds
Frequent travel
CDL drivers may be required to be clean shaven in order to deliver to EquipmentShare customers who have this requirement
Legal & Screening
Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations
This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen
