Position Overview:The Field Geophysicist will support the successful execution of near-surface geophysical and virtual design consulting (VDC) investigations for environmental, geotechnical engineering, and geological projects. This role involves assisting with equipment setup and maintenance, collecting high-quality field data, ensuring safe and efficient field operations, and supporting data processing tasks. The position requires frequent travel, hands-on work in outdoor environments, and the ability to effectively communicate with project managers and senior geophysicists to meet project objectives.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a motivated, detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions and enjoys hands-on technical work. They have a strong work ethic, an eagerness to learn advanced geophysical methods, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment in the field. They take responsibility for data quality, communicate clearly, and can work both independently and as part of a small field team. A background or interest in geophysics, geology, environmental science, or related fields is preferred.

Travel Requirements:
This position requires moderate travel, approximately up to 40% of the time, in support of business
objectives and client engagements. Travel may be both scheduled and on short notice, depending on
project needs. Destinations typically include job sites, field locations, or regional offices, where work may be conducted in outdoor or operational environments. Adherence to all company safety protocols and use of PPE is required during travel and on-site work.
