Job Title: Field Geotechnical Engineer
Job Description
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a developing engineering professional to build a strong foundation in geotechnical and civil engineering. You will support a variety of projects by assisting with research, data collection, field observations, inspections, and both field and laboratory testing, while preparing associated reports or report sections. You will primarily work in an office environment performing engineering analysis, drafting, and proposal support, with some field visits to support testing and observation activities under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.

Work Environment
The role is primarily office-based, with most work performed in a professional engineering office environment focused on geotechnical and civil projects. You will use CAD software such as AutoCAD, along with other engineering and data analysis tools, to support design, analysis, and reporting activities. While the position is mainly in the office, you will occasionally visit project sites to assist with field testing, observations, and data collection alongside engineering technician crews. Field visits may involve working outdoors and traveling by vehicle, requiring a valid driver's license. The work environment emphasizes collaboration, technical excellence, and professional development under the supervision of a Professional Engineer, with opportunities to contribute to a wide range of engineering and technical challenges.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
