    Field HVAC Service Specialist (Residential Systems)

    Role scope

    • Drive a company-provided service truck to customer residences
    • Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems
    • Isolate mechanical and electrical faults; perform safe, high-quality fixes
    • Present repair options and educate customers
    • Manage parts and truck inventory for efficiency
    • Capture service notes and documentation on a mobile device

    • No on-call schedule; flexible hours without overnight rotations

    Credentials & experience

    • High school diploma or GED
    • EPA Type II or EPA Universal Certification
    • VA Journeyman HVAC Certification
    • Mechanical aptitude and solid troubleshooting ability
    • HVAC service/repair experience preferred
    • Proficient and safe with diagnostic and repair tools
    • Quality-focused and process-oriented
    • Comfortable using smartphones and mobile technology
    • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
