Our client is seeking a Field Installation Manager to oversee daily field operations, support technicians, and manage high‑volume service workflows. This role is hands-on, field-driven, and ideal for someone with strong commercial troubleshooting experience who can coordinate multiple jobs, crews, and customer needs in real time.

Work Schedule: Primarily Weekdays (occasional on-call support)
Responsibilities:
- Run service estimates and scope job requirements.
- Participate in a structured training period with leadership.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Schedule and coordinate 1–2 person service/installation crews.
- Source parts, materials, and equipment for repairs and installs.
- Ensure work is completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
- Oversee daily field activity across 10–20 active commercial service jobs.
- Troubleshoot issues on-site and remotely; support technicians by phone.
- Maintain compliance with safety and industry standards (ADA, fire code, etc.)
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- All education level considered.
- Proven ability to diagnose issues independently (field or phone)
- Experience running service estimates and coordinating service work
- Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Hands-on commercial door experience (service/repair/troubleshooting)
- Experience with multiple commercial systems, ideally 3–4+: Automatic Doors, Storefront Doors, Hollow Metal Doors, Solid Core/Wood Doors, Overhead/Rolling Doors, Dock Equipment/Gates and Gate Operators.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience across all listed door/gate systems.
- Prior leadership or crew supervision experience.
- Experience sourcing parts/vendors independently.
- Strong estimating background (end-to-end quote ownership)
- Knowledge of ADA, fire-rated door requirements, and safety standards.
- Background in high-volume commercial service environments (HVAC, facilities, industrial service, etc.)
Role Expectations:
