This is a newly created position designed to alleviate workload from leadership and improve field efficiency. The ideal candidate brings strong service-based experience (not just new installs) and can confidently manage multiple jobs, crews, and customer needs in real time.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee daily field operations across 10–20 active service jobs
    • Troubleshoot issues in the field and remotely support technicians by phone
    • Run service estimates and scope job requirements
    • Coordinate and schedule 1–2 person installation/service crews
    • Source parts, materials, and equipment needed for repairs and installs
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards
    • Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to keep projects moving
    • Support compliance with safety and industry standards (ADA, fire code, etc.)
    • Partner closely with leadership during a 6-month training period

    Required Experience

    • Strong background in commercial door and gate service/installation
    • Experience with a majority of the following systems:

      • Automatic doors (SIG or similar)
      • Storefront doors
      • Hollow metal doors
      • Solid core/wood doors
      • Overhead doors
      • Dock equipment
      • Gates and gate operators
    • Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues in the field
    • Experience running estimates and coordinating service work
    • Comfortable managing multiple jobs and priorities in a fast-paced environment

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience across all listed door and gate systems
    • Prior leadership or crew supervision experience
    • Knowledge of compliance standards and safety regulations
    • Strong organizational and communication skills

    What to Expect

    • Primarily field-based role with high daily activity
    • 6-month training period working closely with internal leadership
    • High-impact position with the opportunity to help shape operations
    • Occasional after-hours phone support (limited weekend work)

    Additional Details

    • Open to candidates willing to relocate to the Sacramento area
    • Stable, growing company with consistent project volume
    • Full benefits package included
