Field Installers Location: Frederick, MD
Territory: DMV Area (Maryland, Virginia, Washington, DC)
About the Company We are a growing and highly respected specialty contractor based in Frederick, Maryland, specializing in the fabrication and installation of fencing systems, security barriers, gates, and perimeter protection solutions throughout the DMV region. Due to continued growth, we are seeking motivated Installers to join our field team.
Summary The Installer will work alongside experienced crews to install a variety of commercial, industrial, and security fencing systems. This is a hands-on role for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and want to build a long-term career within the construction industry.
Candidates may have anywhere from 3
+ years of installation, construction, or outdoor labor experience. We are willing to consider individuals with transferable field experience who are eager to learn.
Responsibilities- Install commercial and industrial fencing systems, gates, guardrails, miscellaneous metal and security barriers.
- Read and interpret basic project drawings, layouts, and installation instructions.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment.
- Measure, align, and secure fencing materials according to project specifications.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to and from job sites.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work effectively with crew members, supervisors, and customers.
- Travel to project sites throughout Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC.
- Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures.
Qualifications- 3+ years of installation, construction, utility, fencing, or related outdoor field experience.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely work on ladders when required.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Ability to lift and carry construction materials and equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools preferred.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions.
Preferred Experience- Fence/signage installation experience is a bonus
- Metal fabrication or welding (a plus, but not required)
