Law Bear is seeking a bilingual, client-focused Field Intake Specialist to join our growing team. This role serves as the first point of contact for potential clients and plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional client experience from the very beginning of the case journey.
The ideal candidate is comfortable communicating with clients both over the phone and in person, gathering case information, assessing potential claims, and traveling locally to meet with clients when needed. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build trust with individuals who may be experiencing difficult circumstances.
Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients via phone, email, text message, and in-person meetings.
Conduct initial client intake by gathering relevant case information and determining whether a matter meets the firm's criteria.
Accurately document client information, case details, and supporting documentation within the firm's case management system.
Coordinate consultations and follow-up communications between clients and attorneys.
Meet with clients in person at homes, medical facilities, or other approved locations to assist with intake, documentation, and case-related needs.
Travel locally to conduct client appointments and represent Law Bear in a professional manner.
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain consistent communication throughout the intake process.
Maintain a working knowledge of legal terminology, firm processes, and intake procedures.
Handle sensitive and confidential information in accordance with company policies and applicable legal requirements.
Track inquiries, maintain accurate records, and assist with case-related administrative tasks as needed.
Participate in an on-call holiday rotation.
Professional fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) required.
Must reside within a reasonable driving distance of Phoenix, Arizona.
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
Previous experience in legal intake, customer service, healthcare, insurance, sales, or a related client-facing role preferred.
Strong communication, active listening, and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Comfortable meeting with clients in person and traveling locally for appointments.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Must be available to work 9:00 – 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Ability to participate in an on-call holiday schedule.
Experience using CRM or case management software is a plus.
