Title: Field Integration Engineer Location: Multiple Markets Available Pay rate: $350-$400/day all-inclusive Vehicle, gas, and accommodation included in payrate $100 for travel more than 250 miles if FE stays in hotel and can provide receipt(s) upon request FE must have all required valid certifications prior to project engagement Available Markets: Carolinas (covering both NC and SC) Washington DC Virginia New England (covering Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island) Philadelphia New York City New Jersey Upstate NY Connecticut Job Description: Seeking an experienced Field Integration Engineer to decommission, install, commission, integrate BBU, inventory management, pickup and deliver material/equipment, submit COP Responsibilities: Pick up materials from warehouse and delivery to site from Customer/Ericsson warehouse to site Inventory all the materials before leaving warehouse. Includes scanning, uploading to the TOR (i.e Cats Lite) and filling out asset tracking form as required Install T-Mobile provided Baseband Modules in existing cabinet including mounting hardware Install or swap T-Mobile provided SFP's on Basebands Install transport cable from each new Baseband and existing basebands to CSR/IXRe Install inter-cabinet connectivity kit between existing cabinet and new cabinet from Basebands to CSR Install IDL cables (if required) between Basebands and CSR/IXRe Confirm connectivity & functionality Terminate associated power, fiber, alarm and ground cables Grounding Tagging, labelling, and cable management Non-Smart Laptop Configuration & Integration (Enhanced Easy or latest tool to be used) Verify the correct SFP are installed if accessible Migrate technologies from up to (3) Existing baseband to (2) proposed baseband Move carriers one at the time or all at once depending on the market or region requirements. Re-cable Fibers cables between existing and new Baseband On field support and troubleshooting as needed of the existing technologies that are being migrated with in relocated BBU Call test to be performed a minimum of 110 yards from the site to ensure the call is being setup on the correct antenna face Functional Call test SRS Call test all simulated options Internal alarm test Record result in eNode B Acceptance Checklist De-Install Baseband Modules including mounting hardware as directed by T-Mobile Removal/disposal of unnecessary cabling & conduits Transport & dispose as directed by T-Mobile Submit COP - Upload CoP to project management repository TOR, Labeled photographs with: Site Id, equipment, termination point, etc. per project requirements, Completed RBS Installation Quality Checklist, Bill of Materials, Asset Tracking Form, Pre & Post Equipment installation pictures, pictures of conduit and conductor installation, corrected punch list items etc. Comply with EH&S disposal requirements Certifications: Certifications – must carry them on site OSHA-10 minimum Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) CPR/First Aid Hazard Communications (HazCom) Ladder Safety Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Radio Frequency (RF) Awareness Tool(s) Must carry: Safety gear – Basic tools & power tools, Hard hat, Safety vest, Safety boots, Safety glasses, multimeter 600V, ladder Minimum Requirements: Minimum 5+ years of proven experience Minimum 2+ years of T-Mobile experience preferred Valid driver’s license with clean record Flexible to work in day or night shifts Must be flexible to travel Preferred Skillset: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently at remote sites and coordinate with multi-vendor teams. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
