POSITION SUMMARYThe Audit Assistant supports the Lead Auditor and Audit Department by assisting with monthly store audits. This role is responsible for accurately and efficiently counting merchandise at the store level while maintaining a professional presence and strong working relationships with store teams.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSCommunicate regularly with the Lead Auditor regarding audit activitiesCoordinate with the Store Analyst on the day of the auditPartner with the Audit Supervisor to ensure accurate and complete store countsConduct merchandise counts in a professional accurate and timely mannerResearch audit findings as directedSupport overall audit operations as neededREQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to take ownership of work and maintain positive relationships with store teamsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsTeam-oriented mindset with a professional demeanorEffective verbal and written communication skillsPHYSICAL DEMANDSAbility to stand for extended periods bend crouch and work close to the groundAbility to climb ladders as requiredAbility to use a computer and handheld scanning devicesAbility to hear and communicate clearly in store and office environments including by telephoneAbility to lift and move merchandise weighing more than 40 poundsAbility to work in extreme temperatures e.g. coolers freezers sheds drive-thru areasJob duties may change at any time with or without notice.
