Field Inventory Technician

Job Description:
Title:                 Field Inventory Technician
Location:                        Clayton, NC 27520
Duration:                        0-1+ Months
Shift:                 8am-5pm M-F (Weekdays)
Pay Rate:                        $24.00/Hour + $0.52 per mile (personal vehicle mileage reimbursement)
 
Experience:

• Dependable individual with a reliable personal vehicle.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be reliable and able to travel between multiple customer locations.
• Candidate should preferably reside in the Fayetteville, Hope Mills, or Lumberton, NC area.

Responsibilities:

• Provide VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) support at three customer locations:
  • Wade, NC
  • Maxton, NC
  • Whiteville, NC
• Visit each customer location twice per week for a total of 4 weeks.
• Travel using a personal vehicle to assigned customer locations.
• Complete inventory support activities at each assigned location.
• Work independently after the initial training period.
• Maintain dependable attendance and complete assigned routes as scheduled.

Training:

• Initial training will be provided during the first week at the customer locations.
• After training, the candidate will travel independently from home to the assigned customer locations.

Working Conditions:

• Frequent travel between customer locations.
• Use of a personal vehicle is required.
• Mileage reimbursement of $0.52 per mile for business travel.
• Autonomous work environment requiring reliability and accountability.

Essential Requirements of the Role:

• Reliable personal vehicle.
• Valid driver's license.
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to travel to multiple customer sites.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
