We are an established manufacturer of large irrigation pumping systems, known for delivering high-quality service, repair, and installation solutions. As a fast-growing company based in Jupiter, Florida, we are seeking a skilled Field Irrigation Pump Technician to join our team. This role offers a mix of field and shop work, supporting a wide range of client projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of irrigation pumping systems in both field and shop environments
- Test rotating equipment and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Disassemble equipment (motors, pumps, mixers, blowers, gearboxes, valves, etc.) to assess condition and identify necessary repairs
- Reassemble, align, balance, and test equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Install and replace components such as bearings, gears, seals, impellers, and power cables
- Utilize diagnostic tools including multimeters and meggers; work safely with low- and medium-voltage systems
- Operate and maintain company service vehicles, including crane trucks
- Support overall shop operations and assist team members as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an irrigation or pump technician (preferred)
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license required
- Clean driving record (no DUIs, DWIs, or major violations)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $28.00 – $40.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Full-time position (40 hours per week expected)
