Field Lead Mitigation Technician $42,000 - $46,000 per year ($20.00 - $22.00 per hour)
The Field Lead Mitigation Technician position is a career in the property damage restoration industry, leading a crew of technicians who respond to emergency and property damaging situations. The Field Lead Technician and team address the property and the customer with skill, knowledge, and professionalism, and our goal is to preserve as much of the property as possible while working safely and efficiently on the job site.
What You’ll Do
Lead and train technicians in the field and warehouse.
Use digital tools such as RMS, Xactimate, and MICA for documentation and project tracking.
Perform damage assessments, moisture inspections, and set restoration equipment per standard protocols.
Communicate job details clearly and factually with customers and internal teams.
Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean, organized condition.
Accurately log time, notes, and photo documentation for each job.
Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency response.
Earn paid IICRC certifications and pursue ongoing technical development.
Required Education/Experience:
Strong technical aptitude and comfort with technology (iPhone, iPad, job management systems).
Exceptional attention to detail and process accuracy.
1+ years of experience in construction, restoration, or related skilled trades.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks methodically.
Excellent written and verbal communication — clear, direct, and factual.
Ability to create documents and estimates.
Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles safely.
Preferred Education/Experience:
Prior restoration experience.
IICRC certifications (or willingness to earn them).
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree.

Physical Requirement:
Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 25% of the time within a vehicle.
Constantly moves about job sites
Constantly positions self to move about job sites; stairs, walkways, roofs, crawl spaces
Occasionally ascends and descends a ladder to complete jobs
Must be able to observe and perceive information on a computer and documents
Must be able to communicate and converse with customers over the phone and face to face
Frequently will lift up to 60lbs
Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
