BayCare Health System Skilled Nursing St. Petersburg Location: HomeCare-Largo, FL Status: Full Time Shift Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Weekend Work: Every Other On Call: No Home visits in assigned service area: Pasco County surrounding areas

Job Description

The Home Health Field LPN provides hands-on care in the home for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards and protocols. Responsibilities include:

• Delivery of patient care to assigned patients
• Provides care for clients as ordered, including IV infusions, infusion pumps, and tube feedings under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Identifies, implements, and maintains appropriate teaching plans for patient and caregivers under direction of a Registered Nurse
• Follows plan of care and collaborates with Registered Nurse regarding patient response to treatment and change in status
• Utilizes nursing knowledge in the administration of medication and evaluation of effectiveness when applicable

Requirements

• BLS Basic Life Support
• LPN Registered Nurse License
• Drivers License: State of Florida Florida drivers license is required within 30 days of hire
• Required: Associates or Diploma Nursing
• Required: 1 year Licensed Practical Nurse
• 1 year Home Care
