$20.00 - $24.00 - Hourly

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves performing a wide variety of general maintenance, repair, and light construction tasks in both commercial and residential settings. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, enjoys problem-solving, and can work independently or as part of a small team.

What you will do:

You will enjoy and be good at interacting with clients, tenants, and team members with excellent customer service.

You will perform general repairs including carpentry, plumbing, painting, drywall, and basic electrical. along with troubleshoot and repairing building systems as needed.

You may assist in any small remodeling and tenant improvement projects while operating hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Completing work orders and service requests in a timely, professional manner will be required.

You will also transport, load, and unload materials as required wile maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 

• Strong knowledge of general building repairs and maintenance.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, drawings, and simple blueprints.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and be able to use some of your existing tool set.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of handyman, facilities maintenance, or construction experience (commercial or residential).
