Field Marketing Associate
About the Job
Are you a person who loves turning heads and creating a buzz? Cityside Fiber is on the hunt for a Field Marketing Associate with passion, creativity, and a dash of adventure. You’ll be the on-the-ground champion for our lightning-fast fiber products, dreaming up local events and sponsorships, wowing attendees at events, and turning curious passersby into potential customers.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and rock community events and sponsorships, from HOA neighborhood launches, local business events, and industry conferences, to food-truck festival takeovers.
- Lead everything from set-up to tear-down while charming crowds, capturing leads on the spot, and delivering top-notch customer support.
- Collaborate to create design eye-catching banners, swag, and social media teasers that get people talking.
- Track expenses, negotiate vendor deals, and manage sponsorships like a boss.
- Maintain crystal-clear run-of-shows, checklists, calendars, return on investment (ROI) and lead databases.
- Support pre-event lead generation efforts and coordinate seamless lead hand off to sales operations. Capture real-time event stories on social media such as LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook to drive likes, follows, and leads.
- Dive into the numbers ‘key performance indicators’ (KPIs), scout competitor moves with market research, and fine-tune customer profiling with recommended go to market tactics.
- Be in the field! Cultivate local business relationships—from chambers of commerce to local food vendors—to extend our community reach and awareness.
- Hit the road as an ambassador up to 40% of the time, bringing Cityside Fiber to every corner of our market.
Who You Are
- You have a Bachelor’s (or equivalent hustle) in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- You bring 2–4 years of field marketing or event-planning experience (telecom or B2B tech is a definite plus!).
- You live in Ventura / Santa Clarita County
- You’re a master multitasker who meets deadlines without breaking a sweat.
- You communicate like a pro—whether pitching to executives or chatting up prospects in person.
- You’ve got an eye for design (bonus points if you can shoot and edit quick-hit photos or videos).
- You love data—tracking KPIs and turning insights into action is your jam.
- You’re a natural networker, making vendor and community relationships bloom.
- You know your way around Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot, and Salesforce will make you the office hero.
- You have a valid driver’s license—and the spirit for up to 40% regional travel on California roads.

Location
Headquarters in Irvine, CA. This role requires a flexible schedule, regular attendance, physical demands (lifting up to 35 lbs., prolonged standing) and adherence to Cityside's dress code. Requires travel to and from off-site event locations.
- This role will be based out of Santa Clarita County and the surrounding areas.

- Annual salary of $70,000 (dependent on experience)
