With a focus on providing our customers with a variety of uniquely handcrafted beverages and on-the-go food options, we are committed to giving them a first-rate experience every time they visit Ziggi’s. Quality is at the heart of everything we stand for, and we will always strive to provide the very best to our communities. Nationally recognized on Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500®, we are a fast-growing company that continues to promote valuable growth and development opportunities. Our team members share a positive attitude, passion, and drive to create a collaborative work environment. Now you have the opportunity to join our team and excel professionally as our Manager, Field Marketing.
The Manager, Field Marketing is a digital-first marketer who sets Ziggi’s local growth strategy and manages it to performance. You are the marketing partner to Ziggi’s franchisees and company-owned stores, the person who turns national plans into measurable local results in every store’s neighborhood. You’ll lead the field marketing team, guide new store openings, help stores that need a lift build momentum, and grow how Ziggi’s shows up locally: in the community and in the places guests now discover coffee, including Google, social, neighborhood platforms, and AI search. You equip franchisees with plans, tools, and coaching, feed what you learn in the field back into national strategy, and run every local program the way a performance marketer would: clear targets, constant monitoring, and fast optimization toward what drives traffic and sales. This is a hands-on, working manager role. You build the plans and run them yourself, in stores, at events, and in the ad accounts, while leading a small team.
PRIMARY DUTIES
• Local growth strategy and performance. Set the local growth strategy for the system: which stores to prioritize, which channels and tactics to use, and how to invest the field marketing budget. Run it as a performance program: set targets, build the dashboards, monitor results weekly, test continuously, and move spend and effort to what works.
• Franchisee marketing partner. Serve as the primary marketing contact for franchisees. Build annual local marketing plans with them, coach them on Ziggi’s programs, and own the local store marketing toolkit (programs, templates, and activation kits), driving adoption across the system in partnership with Brand & Creative.
• National campaign activation. Make sure every national campaign, LTO, and promotion lands well in every store’s market. Partner with Brand & Creative early in planning to represent the field’s perspective, then turn each campaign into local activation plans, toolkits, and franchisee communications with clear expectations and timing. Track participation and local lift, and report what’s working back to the national team.
• Brand standards and franchisee governance. Own the approval process for locally created marketing so every piece meets brand standards, and keep clear guidelines on what franchisees can and cannot create on their own. Work with the Franchise Advisory Council and other franchisee groups to shape local marketing programs and build buy-in.
• Partnership with Operations and Franchise Business Consultants. Sit on the Marketing team but operate as a true partner to Operations. Set a regular cadence with Franchise Business Consultants to review store performance together, align on priorities for each market, and build joint plans for stores that need support. Bring field insights (franchisee sentiment, operational constraints, local competitive moves) back to Marketing and Operations leadership, and make sure marketing plans are realistic for what stores can execute.
• New store openings. Lead the marketing playbook for every new store, from eight weeks before opening through the first 90 days: pre-opening awareness, community introductions, grand opening events, and Ziggi’s Rewards enrollment. Coordinate timing and handoffs with Training and Real Estate & Development.
• Store sales recovery. Use sales, transaction, and loyalty data to identify stores that need support, build targeted local plans with franchisees and their Franchise Business Consultants, and track results to what works.
• Local digital marketing. Plan, launch, and optimize local paid media, including geo-targeted search, social, and maps campaigns, against cost-per-guest and return targets.
Own Google Business Profiles, local listings, and review response standards for every store. Partner with the Social & Community and Loyalty & Digital teams to execute local organic social, community platforms (Nextdoor, neighborhood groups, local newsletters), and AI search visibility at the store level.
• Community activation and local budgets. Lead a community program of drink drops, sampling, events, and local partnerships designed to create content and Rewards sign-ups, not just impressions. Manage the field marketing budget against a clear ROI standard.
• Vendor and partner management. Select, negotiate with, and manage the agencies and vendors behind local media, listings, reviews, print, signage, and event materials. Hold them to cost, quality, and deadlines, and build relationships that get Ziggi’s good service and good pricing.
• Reporting to leadership. Report field marketing results, spend, and return to leadership on a regular cadence. Flag problems early, bring clear recommendations, and keep leadership informed on franchisee sentiment and what is happening in the field.
• Lead and develop the field team. Manage and coach the two field marketing coordinators, who own day-to-day execution: activation kits and local materials, event and sampling logistics, listings and review monitoring, and campaign tracking and reporting. Work alongside them, not just over them: you run campaigns, build materials, and show up at openings and events yourself. Use AI tools as a force multiplier across content, research, analysis, and reporting, and teach the team to do the same.
