Right now, we need a Field Marketing Representative ("FMR") located in Seattle, WA to champion our Rainier Beer brand and attract the next generation of Rainier fans. We need someone who embodies quirky PNW ethos, understands the Rainier brand intrinsically, and brings fresh, culturally relevant ideas to the table. This person will act as the local face of the brand, building relationships with top accounts, supporting sales teams, executing best-in-class activations, and ensuring Rainier shows up with authenticity, consistency, and impact. This role is a hybrid marketing-sales role and requires a self-starter, a natural connector, and a thought leader who can balance creative instincts with commercial discipline. Selling is a requirement for this role.

What youll do:
Partner with local distributor teams to sell-in Rainier products into top on-premise and off-premise accounts. Build and strengthen relationships with key accounts, venue managers, bar owners, retail buyers, and community partners. Relentless drive to gain distribution and increase velocities. Conduct regular account audits ensure proper pricing, visibility, POS execution, and menu placements. Track and report competitive intel and market opportunities. Lead the execution of live events, sampling, festivals, sponsorships, and brand moments across the Pacific Northwest. Manage event logistics, including scheduling staff, product pulls, POS placement, load-in/load-out, and full activation execution. Capture content (photo/video) to support brand social channels, recap materials, and sales decks. Ensure activations are authentic, engaging, and drive lasting conversions. Serve as the connective tissue between Marketing and Sales; collaborate on goals, programming, and local insights. Share market feedback weekly to guide innovation, creative development, and strategic planning. Partner with creative agencies, influencers, and local talent when appropriate to elevate activations. Train staff, ambassadors, and partner teams on brand story, product portfolio, and best-in-class representation. Manage a monthly budget with accuracy and fiscal responsibility. Track KPIs including new distribution points, menu placements, event attendance, impressions, and return on investment. Submit regular market reports, recaps, and upcoming opportunities to Marketing and Sales leadership. Maintain On Premise POS inventory, event calendars, and operational processes for strong organization and reliability.
What youll need:
Must be comfortable in environments where alcohol is served and always champion the responsible use of alcohol. Deep understanding and love for Rainier as well as the Seattle bar and restaurant scene. 2-4 years in field marketing, sales, brand ambassadorship, or beverage alcohol experience preferred. Strong communication and relationship-building skills; comfortable talking to anyone from bartenders to buyers to distributor leadership teams. Creative thinker with a passion for grassroots marketing and authentic brand storytelling. Independent self-starter who thrives in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments, where 'selling' is prioritized. Ability to work nights/weekends for events with some regional travel for events.
