Feeser’s provides an expansive offering of dry, refrigerated, and frozen products to a diverse customer base comprised of restaurants, healthcare facilities, educational facilities, and other institutions.SummaryThis hybrid role supports both field marketing initiatives and vendor marketing programs. The Field Marketing Strategist is responsible for planning and executing company events, customer-facing activations, sponsorships, and vendor-driven marketing initiatives that support sales growth and customer engagement. This role collaborates closely with Marketing, Purchasing, and Sales, and reports to the Marketing Manager.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Plan and execute the annual Feeser's Expo, including promotions, giveaways, seminars, registration, signage, and event experience
Coordinate Expo reception, including venue, food and beverage, activities, and guest management
Maintain the marketing event calendar and ensure deadlines, materials, and logistics are met
Organize and track event assets (swag, signage, backdrops, etc.) and manage inventory/restocking
Plan and coordinate monthly Sales Meetings in conjunction with the Director of Sales, including distributing print collateral and internal recap content
Assist with vendor-related events and marketing activations in partnership with the Purchasing department
Manage sponsorship relationships and track fulfillment of agreements, while identifying opportunities for renewal and growth
Research, evaluate, and recommend high-impact regional events, sponsorships, activations, and trade opportunities across Feeser's core market segments
Participate in regional conferences and trade events across core market segments, including booth setup, customer engagement, and on-site coordination
Capture and develop event and activation content for social media, including photos, video, stories, reels, and user-generated content across company channels
Collaborate with the Marketing team to identify and execute real-time content opportunities that increase engagement and extend the impact of events, activations, and sponsorships
Engage attendees to generate and qualify leads; establish tracking processes for sales follow-up
Track and report on event, sponsorship, and activation performance to support future marketing decisions
Source, order, and manage promotional items, apparel, and event materials
Track promotional initiatives and develop new ideas, including tiered programs
Partner with Sales to align promotional items and field marketing initiatives with customer-facing programs
Publications & Vendor Programs
Support seasonal marketing publications by sourcing and placing vendor products
Assist with proofreading and distribution coordination with Sales
Manage the quarterly MIXER magazine, including vendor ad outreach and digital distribution
Produce the monthly Rebates & Offers digital magazine, including content organization and distribution
Manage vendor rebate programs in CRM, including setup, tracking, and coordination with vendors and partners (e.g., UniPro)
Communicate rebate opportunities to Sales and maintain accurate rebate and coupon documentation

Skills Required
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Detail-oriented with a focus on execution and follow-through
2-4 years' experience in field marketing, event marketing, marketing coordination, or related experience
Ability to collaborate across teams including Sales, Purchasing, and vendor partners
Proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable managing moving pieces
Proven experience planning and managing a wide range of events, activations, trade shows, and marketing programs
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to identify opportunities and recommend marketing initiatives that support business objectives
Comfortable capturing and creating social media content in live event environments, including short-form video, photography, and user-generated content
Familiarity with social media platforms and content best practices, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging formats
Qualifications and Experience
2-4 years' experience in field marketing, event marketing, marketing coordination, or a related role
Experience planning and managing a wide range of events, activations, and customer engagement programs
Preferred experience managing events with 300+ attendees
Experience with lead tracking, CRM systems, or sales enablement initiatives preferred
